Extensive Maintenance Work

Sometimes your vehicle needs extra love and care. These service needs are not under our express service category because they require more time and expert-level attention. If you need one of the services below, stop by our service center as soon as you can!

  • Serpentine Belt Replacement: A serpentine belt is one long belt that keeps several components of your Subaru running smoothly. From the power steering pump to the alternator, a serpentine belt is vital to keep your Subaru running. These belts are long lasting but when they do, it can cause serious problems so if you have not changed your serpentine belt in 60,000 to 100,000 miles then it may be time.
  • Head Gasket Replacement: A head gasket typically needs to be replaced between 100,000 and 150,000 miles on Subaru 2.5 engines. The repair takes two days and can be costly. With this service, it is recommended that a timing belt replacement, cam/crank seal replacement and a water pump replacement also be performed. You can help maintain your head gasket by routinely servicing your vehicle. Although, if you enjoy your vehicle and plan to keep it in your family for years to come then this repair is essential.
  • Transmission Work/ Replacement: The last thing that anyone wants to hear is that there is an issue with their transmission. This can be costly and there is always the debate of whether you want to repair or replace your transmission. Discuss your options with our service team and they can give you their expert opinion. A common maintenance issue is low fluid levels from a transmission fluid leak. If you notice fluid under your vehicle then have it checked for a leak because this is a minor repair. If you don’t then it can quickly turn into a repair that could cost thousands of dollars!
