A Brief History of Mark Miller Subaru

1919

The roots of our present day Mark Miller Subaru store began when John Mark Miller opened his own Ford Agency.

 

 

1967

Larry moved the dealership to 3455 West 5400 South in Kearns, UT, building what is now Larry H. Miller Toyota.

1971

Larry was presented with an opportunity to sell Subaru without the conflict of selling Toyota at the same time.

 

 

1985

As the Subaru brand continued to grow, the Subaru dealership opened at 1515 South State Street.

1990

Mark purchased Subaru of Salt Lake City, helping expand the automotive business to multiple locations.

 

 

2009

The Sandy location joined the family—helping shape today’s two-store Mark Miller Subaru presence.

2018
