Supporting Utah Students This Back-to-School Season

Mark Miller Subaru Midtown South Salt Lake | Community Support, Education

As the new school year approaches, KUTV’s Back 2 School Supplies + Snacks Drive is helping students across Utah start strong—collecting essential supplies and healthy snacks for students in need, especially across Granite, Jordan, and Canyons School Districts.

Our Partnership & Community Impact

  • Mark Miller Subaru is a proud partner and donation drop-off location for this initiative.
  • We support students and families in the Salt Lake Valley and beyond.
  • Since 2018, we've supported over 2,300 students through Subaru Loves Learning and AdoptAClassroom.org.

Why This Matters

  • Teachers spend an average of $700 out of pocket each year on classroom supplies.
  • Community donations help reduce that burden and ensure every student starts the year ready to learn.
  • Supplies and snacks go directly to high-need schools across the Wasatch Front.

How You Can Help

  • Drop off school supplies or snacks at Mark Miller Subaru Midtown during business hours.
  • Donate online to help fund classroom needs and snack packs.
  • Join a donation night, like the Smith’s event in West Jordan on August 8.
  • Shop the Amazon Wish List and ship items directly to the donation hubs.

What’s Needed:

  • Supplies: Pencils, crayons, notebooks, folders, glue sticks, highlighters
  • Snacks: Granola bars, fruit snacks, applesauce pouches, juice boxes

Committed to the Future

At Mark Miller Subaru, our Subaru Love Promise includes a deep commitment to education. We believe when Utah students thrive, our entire community benefits. This is more than a donation drive—it’s an investment in the next generation.

Shop with Purpose

Whether you're in for service, shopping for a new Subaru, or dropping off a donation—thank you for supporting your community. Let’s make this school year brighter together.
